5 Years Integrated Programme in Law is a contemporary course grooming law professional right from the beginning. It is a specially designed course that inducts candidates aspiring to be law graduates immediately after qualify Senior Sec. School (10+2).

It helps to lay the right foundation and develops the candidates as a true law professional. All in all, it is the most promising professional programme for those who have the ambition to be legal professionals.

APPROVAL AND AFFILIATION:

B.A. LL.B., 5 years integrated degree programme is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and is affiliated to the Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut.
ELIGIBILITY:

Intermediate (10 +2) in any discipline with minimum 45% marks. The eligibility for admission will be as per the rules of affiliating body/ approving body i.e., the CSS University and the Bar Council of India.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION IN THE B.A.LL.B. – 5 YRS. INTEGRATED PROGRAM, THE CANDIDATE SHOULD:

  • Have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2 System) or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate for General Category & 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category.
  • Not be more than 25 years as on 1st of July in the year of appearing in Examination (subject to C.C.S. University and Bar Council of India norms).
  • Candidates appearing/appeared for the Annual Examination in March/April are also eligible to apply.

Note : All the above-mentioned rules & regulation are subject to the regulations of C.C.S. University and Bar Council of India.

Fee Structure : As per the norms of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut as and when applicable with respect to change.

1. What is B.A. LL.B.? Arrow

B.A. LL.B. is a five-year integrated undergraduate program combining the study of Arts (Political Science, Sociology, History, Economics, etc.) with core legal education, including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, and more.

2. What is the duration and structure of the course? Arrow

The course spans 5 years (10 semesters). Each semester includes legal and non-legal subjects along with internships, moot courts, legal aid clinics, and research projects.

3. What makes B.A. LL.B. unique compared to other law degrees? Arrow

It integrates social sciences with law, providing a broader understanding of society, governance, and justice—essential for roles in litigation, public policy, civil services, and human rights law.

4. Who is eligible to apply for B.A. LL.B.? Arrow

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST categories) from a recognized board are eligible.

5. Is there an entrance examination for admission? Arrow

Admissions are based on merit, subject to CCS University norms. Candidates with CLAT/LSAT scores may be given preference.

As per Bar Council of India (BCI) guidelines, there is currently no age restriction for admission.

Yes, the B.A. LL.B. program is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.

8. Will I be eligible to become an advocate after completing this course? Arrow

Yes. Graduates are eligible to enrol with the Bar Council and practice law after passing the All-India Bar Examination (AIBE).
